Dr. Mikhaela Monty has joined Tender Care Pediatrics in September 2021. Dr. Monty graduated from Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra University, New York.

Dr. Monty completed her pediatrics training at Brown University, Providence, RI. She is Board Certified in Pediatrics.

My name is Mikhaela Monty, and I could not be more thrilled about joining the Tender Care family! I am a proud New Englander, and I am delighted by the warm welcome I have received since moving here. After majoring in Economics and Russian in college (yes, I’m fluent), I went to medical school at Hofstra University on Long Island. My journey brought me back to New England, where I completed residency at Brown University, Hasbro Children’s Hospital and began working in private practice. My wonderful husband and his job brought us to Southern New Jersey, and I could not be happier.

I was called to Pediatrics because I adore children, and helping families navigate parenthood is immensely gratifying. I practice collaboratively with my colleagues and our patient families, and I look forward to the privilege of getting to know each and every one of you. I have additional certification in lactation counseling, an area of particular interest to me. Outside of my profession, my greatest joys are my children, Eve, Arthur, and Iwan. We love to visit the beach, eat seafood and ice cream, and play outside. I love to cook almost as much as I love to eat, and I look forward to learning about (and tasting) all the amazing food this region has to offer.

It is a beautiful thing, to watch families grow, and to help them through challenges and witness their victories. Thank you for allowing me to be part of your journey!
