We, at Tender Care Pediatrics, pride ourselves on providing the best possible care for our patients. Because of this commitment, even during the height of the current COVID pandemic, our office has remained open. Recently, as restrictions have lessened and in accordance with CDC recommendations, we have opened our office hours further, including evening hours. We are here to provide the best quality care for our patients.

In light of current events, nation-wide, stay-at-home orders have resulted in declines in routine pediatric care visits and decreased rates of immunization, leaving children at risk for vaccine preventable diseases. The CDC and American Academy of Pediatrics urges pediatric practices to work with families in order to keep children up to date with their routine well visits, monitor their development, administer life-saving vaccinations, and ensure their overall well-being.

As such, if you have not done so, we urge you to call and schedule your child’s routine well visits.

In accordance with (and in some ways beyond) current guidelines, we at Tender Care Pediatrics are taking every available precaution in order to help ensure the safety of our patients, their parents, and our staff. This includes:

  • Scheduling sick visits and well-child visits during different times of the day
  • Limiting those accompanying the patient to one parent, when possible
  • Reducing the potential for crowding in waiting rooms by asking patient to remain in their vehicles and call to check-in
  • Patients will be called into the exam room directly after it’s been thoroughly cleaned
  • All visitors and staff are having their temperature taken as they enter the building
  • Our doctors and staff are using personal protective equipment as per CDC guidelines
  • We request that all adults and children above 2 years old wear a mask (if possible)
  • Cleaning each exam and triage room thoroughly after each and every patient
  • Wiping down common areas and doors multiple times daily

For your convenience, we continue to have the option of TeleMedicine on weekdays and weekends. If your insurance company does not cover the service, please note that a $50 fee will be charged for the visit.

Now, more than ever, preventative care, including timely well exams and vaccine administration, is vital to ensuring that each child has the best health and well-being of all our children. “Helping parents raise healthy and happy kids” is more than just a motto for us here, at Tender Care Pediatrics, it’s our guiding principle. We have been here during the height of this pandemic and will continue to be here for you for years to come. We wish you and your family well and we hope to see you soon.

As we continue to navigate the Corona virus variant community trasmission and follow all guidelines and recommended protocols, we are requesting all parents, guardians, and  anyone over the age of 2 to WEAR A MASK when entering our office.

For your safety, our check-in process is to call the office from the parking lot and press number 2 to reach the front desk (609-64-0200).  We will check you in and when your appointment is ready to begin you will receive a call from our staff and you will be directed as to which entrance you will be entering the office.  If you are scheduled for a well visit or consult you will be asked the following question both when appointment is confirmed and on the day of your appointment if you answer yes your appointment will need to be rescheduled or changed to a sick visit.

Within the last 3 days have you/your child had any of the following symptoms; fatigue, congestion, runny nose, nausea, vomiting and diarrhea. fever, chills, cough, difficulty breathing, sore throat, body aches, new headache, or loss of taste or smell?

Tender Care Pediatrics is here to keep our children and families healthy and safe during this very challenging time.  We hope you and your families remain healthy and safe.
